Help Managing Your DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
We are developing C/TPA and consortium services for owner-operators and transportation employers. Contact us for information about the planned program. Enrollment and random pool participation are not yet available.
What a C/TPA does
A consortium/third-party administrator helps manage parts of an employer’s DOT drug and alcohol testing program, such as coordination and records. The employer retains its applicable regulatory responsibilities.
How a consortium pool works
A consortium combines eligible participants in a random testing pool. Pool participation and administrative support are different arrangements, so it is important to understand what an enrollment agreement includes.
Our planned program
The proposed service may include random selection coordination, employer notifications, collection scheduling, laboratory and Medical Review Officer coordination, and program records. We can discuss your needs while these services are being developed.
FMCSA Clearinghouse support
Clearinghouse assistance is not currently available. Any future service would require the appropriate registration, employer designation, and authorization.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I enroll now?
Enrollment is not open. You can call to discuss your operation and ask about the planned program.
Does a consortium take over all employer responsibilities?
No. Employers retain their applicable obligations when a service agent performs agreed program tasks.
Does an information request establish program coverage?
No. An information request does not enroll your business, place drivers in a random pool, or authorize Clearinghouse activity.
